What to Expect

Here is what you can expect on your trip to the Arrowhead!

Did you know Minnesota’s Arrowhead has some of the best snowmobiling in all of North America? You can ride thru spectacular wilderness for days and never see the same trail twice. And, we always have snow - lots and lots of wonderful snow everywhere.

Terrain: Our trails traverse a wide variety of spectacular terrain: from the highest of ridges to the lowest of swamps, across sprawling lakes and along winding rivers, thru bogs and bush - you name it we got it.

Forest: You will see the boreal forest with white and red pine, white and black spruce, jack pine, balsam, birch, maple, oak, poplar, tamarack, and white and black ash…….and, of course, plenty of good old fashioned Canadian bush.

Animal life: You might see moose, deer, gray wolves, bobcats, lynx, coyotes, fox, fisher, marten, mink, weasel and red squirrels as well as ravens, blue jays, gray jays, grosbeaks, siskens, nuthatches, redpolls, chickadees, and maybe even the ever elusive great gray and snowy owls or an overwintering eagle.

Dining: Many fine dining establishments are tucked trailside with mouthwatering food to end your hunger and tasty drinks, hot and cold, to quench your thirst. And gas to fill your tank too.

Lodging: Lodging options range from simple hotel rooms to mom and pop resorts to luxurious B & B’s and a fancy, full service casino to boot.

These establishments have reasonable prices and are staffed by warm and friendly folks eager to serve and inform. Chat them up.

While here be sure to make summer reservations too, this country is pretty cool albeit in a very different sort of way when the grass is green and the lakes are liquid.

Come visit, you’ll have a blast we guarantee it.

See ya on the trails!
